ISCA Convention 2010 Las Vegas Summary

This convention has been awesome again! The convention is ALWAYS a great learning experience and a great time hanging out with my fellow caricature buddy’s. Besides the many intense days and nights working at the ballroom there were again some  more than awesome Seminars, workshops and Guest speaker: indie animator Bil Plympton:

Here are some of the works I did at the convention.

Here’s the oil painting I did of  the always helpful and friendly Jeff Redford. It’s the piece I did on the convention that I was most happy with.

This is my acrylic painting of Lar DeSouza, that I made in a rush, in the last hour before the deadline. I’m happy with what it is for under an hour, but would like to take it a bit further, so I took it home with me. I’ll finish it when I get some time to work on it and then ship it to Lar.

The next upcoming caricature conventions that I’m hoping attend are:

Girona Minicon, Spain 19-22 April 2011

Osaka Minicon, Japan (somewhere in the beginning of July)

ISCA Convention 2011 St. Pete Beach, Florida November 2011 at the Tradewinds Resort.

It has been nice and inspirational hanging out with you guy’s! See you on one of these upcoming cons and next year for sure!!
