Portrait of someone

In the atelier at school I’m now working at a series of portraits of people who’s face interests me. I walk around on the street with my camera and take  pictures of the faces I like. By applying slight caricature in my portraits I try to show what intrigues me about the face, what I see in the people.

In these paintings I try to have bold brush strokes defining my values and working together as a whole.

Although I put this one up already, I’m still going to change the colors in the hair a bit, because now there are too much returning colors from the skin in it. I will update the picture in this post later on.
