The following days I’ll be uploading more pictures of my latest project, where I work around the way we are more and more attatched to the digital media, the internet and social networks. As the digitalisation becomes a daily aspect of our lives, one firmly attatched to the other and the same the other way around I wanted to make works which are depending on the digital media. In this area I seek for cross overs between digital and tradition. For this I’ve been using fysical, visual codes linking to digital pictures or texts, such as QR code, EZ code and MS tag.
This one is one I made in the beginning of my series, trying out the possibilities of the QR codes I made this one, which converts into my name, when you scan it with a qr code scanner app on your smartphone.
I think/ hope the idea will become more clear to you when I post the rest of my paintings on this matter.
