Klaas Op de Beéck, born on the 25th June of 1990, is a young caricaturist who loved to draw since he was a kid. In his father’s side of the family all familymembers are busy with art. His uncles and aunts, respectively, make drawings and paintings. One of his uncles, Jan Op de Beéck, also makes caricatures and just like him, Klaas always wanted to draw caricatures. He started drawing caricatures in 2007 and in January 2008 he joined a European mini-convention in Oosterbeek (the Netherlands).

In the beginning of november 2008 Klaas attended his first international convention of the former NCN (now ISCA) in Ralleigh, Nort-Carolina (USA). In January 2009 klaas was awarded with the third price for the best colour caricature on the European mini-convention, C.U.

Klaas started Studying Fine arts, Painting at St. Lucas college, Ghent in September 2009.
