Here’s a little sketch where my mom is holding her granddaughter for the first time.
Hannah was born this night, 1 September 2010 at 2.20am and is the daughter of my sister Marijke Op De Beéck and brother in law Ruben Goosens.
I’ve decided to make these little paintings in my sketchbook on a daily basis, all summer long. I’ll share the ones that I want to share one here. In this way you can see how, where I live , what surrounds me and what occupies me. And in this way I can train myself a little everyday by making these 30-40 minutes paint sketches.

While sketching some trees in your garden you wouldn’t expect them to move right? Well, while I was making this quick impression of my garden in acrylics the tree in the left snapped in two!

A few weeks back I visited Berlin for a week, here’s a sketch of a woman on the subway in Berlin.

Nope, these are no goats from Berlin, but some of my goats that I sketched today.
